This is a G rated Story

Truth be told, Lisa did feel a tinge of satisfaction in helping others despite herself, but even that faded when the days were so beautiful and beckoning, and she was left to play unwilling Saint doing all the grunt jobs that anyone in their right mind would run from. Sure, she did at least win the admiration of her friends, especially the socially conscious Jessie Spano, but even she knew better than to stay holed up in a hospital tending to the unfortunates, when she could be out frolicking on the beach instead. Lisa’s chief complaint was that she just really wanted to spend her leisure time in pursuit of her own enjoyment. No longer feeling so put upon, she resolved to finish up her shift and forget about that not so fleeting thought of devising any type of plan to escape from Compassion’s Hell, her pet name for her volunteering job. Mrs. Raleigh’s comment made Lisa smile to herself. They didn’t ordinarily see things eye to eye. Lisa generally found her to be very strict and overbearing. She seemed all business at all times; it was very seldom that she uttered a word that didn’t have to do with the next task waiting to be done.
