This is a G rated Story

“I see what you mean. You’re very sensible. So, what are you studying?”

“Pre-law and French language and culture. The law part is for the future career, the French is just because I’ve always been very interested in it; must be the Cajun influence and all.”

All of a sudden a voice over the loud speaker announced the end of visiting hours.

“Wow, the time has flown, I’ve got to be getting home,” Lisa said dismally.

“Not yet! Lisa I would very much like to be in possession of your phone number before you fly off for the evening.”

“Sure. I’ll mark it down for you,” Lisa said as she jotted down her phone number on a slip of paper she found in Gary’s night table. She signed her name with a heart in place of the dot for the “i”. As Lisa handed it to Gary, he deftly captured her hand and gallantly kissed it.

Lisa laughed and said, “You must be great at interceptions.”

“I only dive for them when they’re worth the trouble, I assure you. Well lass, be off with you. Don’t keep your parents waiting too long for you to come home. I’ll be calling you tomorrow, hopefully from the comfort of my dorm room.”

“I hope so too. Let me know how you’re doing and all,” Lisa said as she gathered up her handbag to leave.

“Oh, I will. You can count on that, I assure you,” Gary said and with that Lisa left for home.
