Jessie glanced at her watch and said, "Better finish up everyone, we've got to get back to class."
     When school was over, Lisa rushed home as fast as she could. She had so much to do, and this time, picking out an outfit was the least of it. She also had to prepare the food for the barbeque and arrange the table. Lisa was so excited, that she worked as if she had a magic wand at her disposal. She managed to do five hours worth of work in three. By 6:00, the patio dining table was set, and it was laden with every type of burger topping imaginable. Large bowls of coleslaw, potato salad and other fixings were deliberately placed on the table in accordance with Lisa's decorative eye. There were large ice filled barrels filled with a variety of different kinds of sodas and bottles filled with water and juice. Lisa smiled contentedly to herself when she stepped back to admire her work. Everything looked nice and inviting. She stole a last minute glance in the mirror to make sure that she too looked up to snuff.  Happy with the look of the smiling face and figure that glanced back at her, Lisa was at last satisfied and ready to welcome her guests.  She was relieved that she managed all of her tasks in such a short time. She was even more grateful that her hair didn't take too long to arrange and that the clothes that she picked out for the occasion, a pair of slacks and a form-fitting blouse fit her amazingly well. Besides, they were nice and breezy; elegant, but not overly sophisticated.  "These will do just fine," she commented to herself.  The youthful assurance of beauty was never something that she did not take the time to verify and to delight in.
