Not being able to resist reacting to such a glowing commentary about Gary, Zack blurted out, "Ooh là-là, I think I’m in love!"
"Preppie, you will have to fight me for him," Slater jokingly added. He too was amused at Lisa's little love interest in the blossoming stage. Screech, however, looking none to thrilled with Lisa's description of her new boyfriend, excused himself and went to the men’s room.
As soon as Screech was out of earshot Lisa confided, "Guys, listen, all of you come over to my house at 6:00 this evening. The only thing is that I don't want Screech to come until 6:30, so when I say the time in front of you for all of you to come at 6:30, everyone play along, alright?"
"Okay Lisa, but why, what gives?" Zack asked.
"No time to explain, Screech will be back in a minute. Just please do what I've asked of you for now,." Lisa said hurriedly, as she spied the door to the men's room in anticipation of Screech's return.
"Fine," Zack said with an inquisitive expression lingering on his face. He was a little perturbed about all the secrecy, but he was willing to keep quiet and trust that Lisa must have some good reason for her unusual request.
Screech returned and Lisa announced, "Guys, all of you are coming over to my house tonight at 6:30, right? Just don't come early. I need to have the time to get everything ready for when you get there. And oh, I almost forgot to tell you, Gary's coming too, so you all will get a chance to meet him!" Lisa continued happily.
